From the Managing Editor

Welcome to Volume 7 Number 2 of the IJAHSP.  Two of our own journal board members and a past author have published a new book entitled, Practical Tips in Finding the Evidence: An Allied Health Primer.  The authors are Karen Grimmer-Somers, Saravana Kumar, Anthea Worley, and Alexandra Young.

The University of South Australia and the Centre for Allied Health Evidence are at the forefront of research into the evidence supporting the effectiveness of allied health treatment and therapeutics. The authors have compiled what I believe to be a global interdisciplinary teaching tool that will be used in many universities and medical venues. This text brings evidence to the front lines of practice and describes the methods in a way that clinicians will find invaluable.

This quarter, the journal represents Australia, the Philippines, and the United States. Outstanding work by all of the authors and editors.

On a solemn note, we at the Journal express our deepest sympathy to Dr. Cheryl Hill, founding copyeditor for the IJAHSP, whose husband passed away this past week after a long battle with illness. Many of you who have submitted a manuscript have no doubt heard from Cheryl at the end of the editing process. Cheryl, our thoughts are with you.
