From the Desk of the Managing Editor
Welcome to the 3rd issue of the 2005 season. Allied Health is undergoing tremendous change in the 21st century. The doctoral level in many of our professions is the entry point. How is this changing what we do? Reimbursement issues have resolved in many professions. Research activities have increased, while the level of research is soaring. This increase in research is placing Allied Health practitioners at the forefront of medical care instead of the sidelines. This is an exciting time and I am positive we will continue to see our professions and professionals move forward. To those in research, you are breaking new ground in the sciences and ethical research practice. Keep striving for that which will move us to new levels.
